IBPS and SBI upload sizes
The 2026 notices for IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk, SBI PO and SBI Junior Associates all use these sizes:
- Photo: 200 × 230 px (4.5 × 3.5 cm), 20–50 KB.
- Signature: 140 × 60 px, 10–20 KB, in black ink on white paper, not in capital letters.
- Left thumb impression: 240 × 240 px (3 × 3 cm at 200 DPI), 20–50 KB, in black or blue ink on white paper.
- Handwritten declaration: 800 × 400 px (10 × 5 cm at 200 DPI), 50–100 KB, in English, in black ink, not in capital letters.
The declaration text is: “I, ____ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
Rules for the photo
- A recent passport-style colour photo on a light background, preferably white.
- Glasses are fine if there are no reflections. No caps, hats or dark glasses. Religious headwear is fine if it doesn’t cover your face.
- The form also takes a live photo by webcam or phone.

How do I make the handwritten declaration?
Write the declaration text in English, in black ink, on white paper, in your normal handwriting. Photograph it straight on, choose Handwritten declaration here and download.
Which thumb do I use?
Your left thumb, pressed in black or blue ink on white paper.
Will my file be accepted?
The sizes come from the official notice linked on this page, and the badge shows when your file is inside the range. Rules change with each notice, so always check the current one before you submit.
Does it change my face or background?
No. It only crops, resizes and compresses, so your photo stays as it was taken.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. It works in modern mobile browsers, and iPhone HEIC photos open directly.
