Rules for the photo

Rules checked in October 2026 from the Saudi eVisa photo specifications (opens in a new tab). They can change with each new notice, so check the current one before you apply.

By country: Australia Citizenship, Canada Passport, Canada PR & Citizenship, Singapore ICA, UK Passport, UK Visa & ETA, US 2 × 2 Inch, US Passport Renewal and US DV Lottery.

How it works

  1. Choose or drop a photo facing the camera.
  2. Pick your country, then the photo you need, such as a printed passport photo or an online application photo.
  3. Zoom and drag so your face is centred, check the size, then download the JPG.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my face too small at 200 × 200 px?

Use Fill, then zoom in and drag until your face fills about three quarters of the square.

What background does a passport photo need?

Most countries ask for plain white or light grey. Check the rules for your country: some, such as Canada and the UK, don’t accept edited photos.

My application has a file size limit. What do I do?

Set it under File size. Online application cards already have the official limit, and the tool keeps the file inside it.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. It works in modern mobile browsers, and iPhone HEIC photos open directly.
